Disney Inspired Halloween Crafts for Little Ones

We leave for Disney in TWO days!! To prep for our upcoming Halloween trip we decided to do some very simple Disney inspired Halloween crafts to decorate our playroom. Disclaimer I do not consider myself a crafty person. These are very simple as I accomplished these with my 20 month old daughter who is still learning most crafting skills, ha! I wanted to share for any other moms that wanted a simple (and cheap!) activity to do with young kiddos.

We made a Mickey inspired Jack-O-Lantern and a Mike Wazowski inspired pumpkin. All of our supplies came from Target, either the $1 section or the craft aisle. For our Mickey Jack-O-Lantern we used black paper plates, orange napkins, construction paper, crayons, and glue! For our Mike pumpkin we used a teal ready to decorate pumpkin, a single decorative eyeball, and construction paper.

Mickey Jack-O-Lantern started with a paper plate for the face. We used another paper plate to create Mickey's ears. The eyeball for Mike turned out to be the perfect ear size so we traced that eyeball on the back of the paper plate and cut it out. Malie was a great assistant when it came to tracing :)

After we cut the ears we started on the eyes and mouth. We cut the pattern for the eyes and mouth from a piece of black construction paper. Next we cut up one of the orange napkins and glued those orange pieces on our eye and mouth patterns. Again VERY simple, but it was great practice for my 20 month old to learn some new skills. She enjoyed watching and helping her mommy when she could :)

Our Mike Wazowski pumpkin was super simple. I drew the mouth on a piece of black construction paper. We glued both the mouth and eye on the ready to decorate pumpkin. Seriously SO quick and easy! Malie loved playing with the pumpkin afterwards and now it's the perfect decor for the playroom.

It was a fun afternoon filled with holiday music, Disney, and learning! Check out that playlist we listened to ^^ It's our new favorite for Halloween season!
