My #1 Tip for traveling to Disney with kids
Traveling with kids can be intimidating, but I'm here to take some of that fear away! You *CAN* travel with kids. Malie (who just turned 2) has been traveling since she was 3 months old. She is a pro now and we have adjusted fairly well to traveling with a baby/toddler. So today I'm sharing my biggest traveling tip if you are traveling to Disney World with kids.
Full disclosure this tip will more than likely be the simplest tip you've ever heard, but it works for us and I live by it when we travel! When traveling with kids less is best! "Less is best" that's it folks, my #1 tip for all parents traveling with kids. Crazy right? Let me explain...
When we are enjoying the Disney parks the last thing I want to do is haul around multiple backpacks. Now trust me I could fill my purse, a backpack, and another backpack for Patrick with ease! But I don't and that's the key. It's not always easy but I make myself pack just the essentials each time we leave the room, and trust me it helps! Having just ONE back pack to keep up with that also fits in the stroller basket with plenty of room left for all those souvenirs. When you aren't worried about bags and all the "things" you carried in you just get to focus on those sweet smiling faces!
So what do I pack in my park bag? At first I packed the following: bottles, ready made formula, diapers, wipes, bib, and a change of clothes. That's it! *Maybe with an added paci or hand sanitizer ha. We didn't worry with toys and entertainment because we were at Disney. Eventually the bottles and formula were dropped from the bag list making trips even easier, and now that she is two I pack a couple of diapers, a pack of wipes, and an extra shirt. SO easy and carefree!
I told yall this would be the most simple theory for traveling with kids! But hey it works for us and it might for your family too! :)
