Mickey Candy Corn Construction Paper Craft

It’s no secret that we LOVE Candy Corn in this house. It appears this year I am making every effort to make Mickey Candy Corn a thing ;) I was scrolling Facebook one day and saw this craft (thanks Construction Paper Crafts for Kids) and I thought “let’s make that Mickey!” This craft was simple, fun, and most importantly my 4 year old did most of it by herself.

Supplies

  • Scissors + Glue

  • Constructions paper - yellow, orange, and white for candy corn. Black for Mickey’s ears.

  • Card stock - color of your choice to display your Mickey Candy Corn on.

  • Candy corn template - I found my via a quick google search.

Instructions

  • Have your little cut strips of construction paper and sort them into color piles.

  • While they are working take one piece of your card stock and trace your candy corn template then cut out. Next you’ll make two circles from the black construction paper for Mickey’s ears. I used one of my kids cups to trace and cut out. Glue ears onto card stock.

  • Take your second piece of card stock and have your little glue the strips. From bottom to top yellow, orange, then white.

  • Lastly take your first piece of card stock and glue directly on top of the second piece. Have your little sign their work and you’re all done!

So cute and so easy. It took us less than an hour to complete, and now I have the cutest Mickey candy corn artwork piece to display! Be sure to tag me on Instagram so that we can see your completed pieces.

XOXO & Pixie Dust,

Ashton
